THE BEST CHRISTMAS BAKLAVA





Since my vacation in Greece, I've been wanting to make baklava (or baklava, as you wish). Yes but here, I thought the recipe was too complicated and that I would never get the same result... Wrong!taste they don't have anything to envy about the baklava I've been able to eat in Greece.  They are just perfect :)

* ingredients

* Preparation steps :

Heat oven to 180 ° C.
In a small saucepan, melt 5 grams of butter. Pour into a salad bowl with sliced ​​almonds, sugar, almond powder, gingerbread seasoning, 1 tsp. 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tsp. tablespoons of rose water.
Melt the rest of the butter aside. Open the sheets of phyllo and cut each into 2. Place a rectangle from the bottom of a rectangular dish, brushing it with a little melted butter using a pastry brush. Cover the rectangle with 6 more buttered rectangles in a row.
Decorate the dish with the almond filling, smooth and cover again with 6 rectangles of phyllo dough greased with butter between each layer. Prick the top of the dish with a fork. Brown the surface of a teaspoon. of honey.
Bake the baklava for 25 minutes.
In a saucepan, dissolve the remaining honey with 1 tsp. tablespoons of rose water. Straight from the oven, sprinkle the baklava with hot honey and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Leave to cool, then cut into diamonds and serve at room temperature.
