TACO LASAGNA RECIPE


+Preparation time: 20 minutes
+Cooking time: 50 minutes
+Total time: 1 hour 10 minutes
 

* Ingredients:

° 1 pound cooked lean ground beef
° Pillsbury Biscuits 7.5 ounce package (10 biscuits on the pack, the ones in the Value Pack 4, if you can't find that size, you can buy the larger one and weigh it in)
° Taco seasoning (I buy a store-bought 30g packet)
° 1⅓ cup sauce
° 2 cups diced peppers, I used red, orange and yellow
° 1 cup diced onion, I used red onion
° 1 cup low-fat shredded cheese, I use a 3-cheese blend
° green onion
° Fat-free sour cream topping

* Directions :

1. Cook ground beef in a skillet on the stove, add taco seasoning and simmer for a few minutes.
 
2. Preheat oven to 350°F, sprinkle a 9×13 casserole dish and set aside.
 
3. Mix ground beef and sauce together in a bowl.
 
4. Chop the peppers and onions and cut the biscuits into 6 pieces each.
 
5. Put half of the biscuit pieces in the bottom of the casserole, and cover with half of the meat mixture, half of the pepper and onion and half of the cheese. Repeat the layers and finish by placing the chopped green onions on top.
 
6. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 35 minutes, then remove the tin and continue baking for 15 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes, then cut into 6 servings. 7 tablespoons or 6 tablespoons per serving. Put a spoonful of fat-free sour cream.
