Old school spaghetti



Easy to prepare: 25 minutes Cooking: 30 minutes


* Ingredients :

+for 4 people
°600 grams fresh tomatoes
°300 grams of spaghetti
°1 onion
°1 clove garlic
°1/2 bunch fresh basil
°salt pepper
 

* Preparation :

For spaghetti, basil and tomato sauce
Preparation: 25 minutes
Cooking: 30 minutes

1. Wash and drain the basil. Keep the cutest papers for decorating dishes.

2. Peel the tomatoes: remove the stem and cut the peel. Immerse ten seconds in boiling water and then immediately in very cold water, then remove skin easily.

3. Cut the tomato flesh into cubes, peel and chop the onion, peel the garlic and cut it in half to remove the germs.

4. In a saucepan, heat a little oil. Fry the onions and fry for a few moments, then add the meat, tomatoes and garlic. Cover the tomato sauce for 20 minutes, over medium heat.

5. Mix the tomato sauce with the washed basil. Check the seasoning and keep the sauce hot, in a double boiler or over very low heat.

6. Cook the spaghetti according to the manufacturer's instructions.

7. Drain them and in a hot salad bowl, mix together the spaghetti, tomato sauce and basil. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
