Ham and Cheese Sliders

Baked pork and swiss in soft Hawaiian rolls and topped with buttery Dijon, onions and poppy seeds!! Quick, easy and a party favourite!!

* Ingredients :

°  1 package of 12 Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, cut in half (see directions for details)
°  3/4 pound cooked pork, thinly sliced
°  3/4 pound finely chopped Swiss cheese
°  1/2 cup (1 stick) melted unsalted butter
°  1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
°  1 tablespoon poppy seeds
°  2 teaspoons dried minced onion
°  1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
°  1/4 teaspoon pepper, or to taste

* Directions :

Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 9 by 9 inch or 9 by 13 inch skillet with aluminum foil, and spray with cooking spray; Sit aside.
Using a large serrated knife, cut the rolls in half so that you have a "tile" of the tops and a "tile" of the bottoms; Don't separate and cut the rolls individually because you want to keep them connected.
Put the bottom "tile" of the rolls into a prepared frying pan.
Lay about half of the pork evenly over the rolls.
Apply a layer of cheese evenly.
Layer the remaining ham evenly.
add a "tile" from the top rolls; Sit aside.
In a medium microwave-safe bowl, add butter and heat on high to melt, about 1 minute.
Add mustard, poppy seeds, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
Pour the butter mixture evenly and slowly over the rolls. Use a spoon to spread the mixture over the tops. Some of the mixture will collect at the base of the rolls.
Cover with aluminum foil and let the rolls stand at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes.
Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese has melted.
Uncover and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until cooked to taste. Baking time varies based on the size of the pan used, climate and oven changes, etc. Watch it to make sure it doesn't burn because all ovens and ingredients are different.
Cut it into individual slices and serve immediately. Sliders are best warm and fresh.

Enjoy !
