*GERMAN-CHOCOLATE-CAKE*


* Ingredients:

° 1/2 c boil water
° 4 ounces German sweet cooking chocolate
° 2 cups of sugar
° 1 cup soft butter
° 4 egg yolks
° 1 teaspoon vanilla
° 2 12 cups cake flour
° 1 teaspoon baking soda
° 1 teaspoon salt
° 1 cup of milk
°  4 egg whites, whisked coarsely
Coconut Pecan Frosting
° 1 cup sugar (1 12 cups)
° 1/2 cup butter (3/4 cup)
° 1 c evaporated milk (12 ounce can)
° 1 teaspoon vanilla (1 1/2 teaspoon)
° 3 egg yolks (4 egg yolks)
° 1 1/3 c shredded coconut (2 cups)
° 1 cup chopped pecans (1 1/2 cups)


* Directions :

Heat oven 350 degrees f .Greased 2 9 inch square platters or 3 8-inch around platters.  Pour boiling water over the chocolate, stirring until the chocolate melts; Costs.Mix sugar & butter in  large bowl to light also fluffy.
Whisk in egg yolk, one at  time.
Whisk at chocolate & vanilla on lowspeed.Mix the flour, baking soda and salt alternately with the buttermilk, stirring after each addition until a smooth mixture is obtained. Add the egg white.
Divided mix among pans. 
Square bakingpans 41-46 min 
Check about doneness with toothpick in middle.
Cool with coconut & pecan frost .Coconut Nut Frosting: Combine sugar, butter, milk, vanilla and egg yolks in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 12 minutes. Turn up the heat. Stir in coconut and pecans. Whiisk to consistency spreads.
Let to cool also thick before decorate cake.
