PECAN PIE



An American and Canadian classic, a nut and pecan pie! Basically it's the pecan pie or pecan pie.

I also had nuts in stock, so I mixed the two together, and the result is great! Traditionally it's a dessert for the American Thanksgiving holiday, but you don't have to celebrate it to make one? is not it? 🙂 Easy to make


* List of ingredients :

° Homemade shortcrust pastry
° 200 g flour
° 100 g cold butter
° 1/2 tsp. teaspoon salt
° 1 C. brown sugar or sugar
° 40 ml of water
+For garnish
° 3 eggs
° 200 g of pecans and mixed nuts
° 175 g of sugar and brown sugar (for example 100 g of brown sugar and 75 g of sugar)
° 35 g butter
° 1 C. tablespoons of maizena
° 1 C. tablespoon of vanilla extract or 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
° 1 large tsp. tablespoons of Glucose or honey or maple syrup

* Recipe steps:

Prepare the shortcrust pastry: mix flour, salt and sugar
Add the cold butter cut into pieces and knead with your fingertips
Rub the flour between your hands to dissolve the butter well
Add cold water and mix with your hand to obtain a ball
Place it in the fridge for 30 minutes before spreading it out
Make the filling by whisking the eggs and the sugars
Then add the glucose and the melted butter, as well as the vanilla
Finally, add the maizéna
Arrange the walnuts in the spread pie shell
Cover with the preparation and bake at 175 ° C (160 ° C hot air) for 45 minutes.
Leave to cool for at least 2 hours before eating.
