Pork Chops with Scalloped Potatoes

* Ingredients :

° three tablespoons butter
° three tablespoons all-purpose flour
° 1-half teaspoon salt
° 1/four teaspoon pepper
° 1 can (14-half ounce) bird broth
° 6 ham or sirloin steaks (three/four inch thick)
° 2 tablespoons canola oil 
° salt / pepper
° 6 cups thinly sliced ​​potatoes
° 1 medium onion, sliced
° Paprika and fresh chopped parsley, optional

* Directions : 

In a skillet, softe  butter; Stirring in flour, salt, also pepper till mixture is smooth. Add broth.Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 1 minute, until the clumps are firm.Start the pot and set aside.In a large saucepan, butter each side of the veal steak; season with salt and pepper.  Oiled 13"x 9" inches.Casserole layers potatoes/onions.
